CBGL Collaborative Membership
Join the Collaborative to stand together for
just, inclusive, and sustainable communities
As a membership-driven organization, we rely on dues-paying sponsors, partners, and individual members to support the Collaborative financially.
We have a tiered membership structure based on institutional annual budget and the reality of unequal resources among our members.
Individuals without funds to support us financially are invited to serve on an action team, for which we offer an individual base membership. We invite organizations to offer solidarity contributions of financial support outside of the tier structure below. All are invited to express their commitment to our shared Fair Trade Learning values by completing an individual pledge or an institutional pledge.
Benefits of supporting the Collaborative with membership:
Belong to a community of CBGL practitioners striving to enact ethical principles
Reduced registration rates for events (for sponsors and partner, for everyone within your organization)
Option to add-on use of Global Engagement Survey for right-sizing your engagement
Preferential access to webinar, Summit, and Institute participation
We look first to members to serve as webinar and event presenters and bloggers
First in line for community partner scholarships for Collaborative events (to community partners of institutional and individual members)
Recognition on our website (if desired)
Ask yourself and those in your organization:
What is the value of having a community of belonging?
Are we interested in individual or institutional/organizational membership?
Do we want to utilize the Global Engagement Survey (GES)? Use of GES comes with survey set up, live updated reporting, support in analyzing your data, and an invitation to participate in monthly community of practice conversations.
What resources are available to us?
Individual membership (become an individual member here)
Individual membership runs for 365 days, inclusive of one Summit/Institute
<NEW>> Individuals can access the GES for one program by adding on 200% to their base membership! <<NEW>> A program is one unit in our survey codebook.
Institutional/organizational membership (email us with questions)
In addition to all of the benefits noted above, all sponsors and partners receive:
First access to professional development seminars on use of Fair Trade Learning and online toolkit, Interdependence: Global Solidarity and Local Actions
A leadership role on the Collaborative steering committee, if desired, for the year in which they pay membership dues
See additional benefits by tier below
Membership is prorated 50% for new members only February to June.
Institutions that host consulting visits from the Collaborative (one or two day workshops, cost determined in conversation with the Collaborative leadership), receive a one-year partner membership with their first workshop
